About Meet Dumpling
Meet Dumpling is a welcoming Chinese restaurant that brings together the comfort of traditional dumpling-focused cooking with the ease and flexibility modern diners look for. It is the kind of place that appeals to people who want a satisfying meal without a long, formal commitment, making it a natural choice for a quick lunch, a relaxed dinner, or a casual stop during a busy day. With a dining experience that typically takes about 25 minutes to 1 hour, it fits smoothly into the routines of students, workers, families, travelers, and anyone who wants flavorful food served efficiently.
The restaurant stands out for its focus on dumplings while also offering a broader Chinese menu that supports different tastes and appetites. That balance makes it especially attractive to groups, since one person may come specifically for dumplings while another may prefer noodles, rice dishes, or lighter options. The presence of bubble tea adds another layer of appeal, turning the visit into more than just a meal and giving guests a refreshing drink option that pairs well with savory dishes. For diners who enjoy variety, the combination of comfort food, small plates, vegetarian choices, healthy selections, and dessert creates a rounded experience that works for both quick bites and fuller meals.
A major part of the restaurantβs identity is its strong service model. Guests can choose delivery, takeout, dine-in, or onsite service, which makes the business adaptable to different lifestyles and occasions. Some customers may want a fast meal to-go, while others may prefer to sit down and enjoy table service in a casual, quiet setting. The restaurant is also known for fast service, which is an important advantage for people with limited time or for those who do not want to wait long before eating. At the same time, the business still maintains the feeling of a comfortable neighborhood spot rather than a rushed food counter.
Accessibility and convenience are also central to the experience. The restaurant offers wheelchair accessible entrance, parking, restroom, and seating, which broadens its welcome to more guests and creates a more inclusive environment. Practical details such as credit card payments, debit cards, NFC mobile payments, and parking options further support an easy visit. Guests can choose from free parking lot, free street parking, or paid parking lot options, depending on what is available and convenient at the time.
Meet Dumpling also appears to be a popular local destination, attracting a steady mix of college students, tourists, and everyday diners. The combination of a strong reputation, steady demand, and usually a wait suggests that many visitors consider it worth the time. Its casual atmosphere makes it approachable, while the quiet setting gives it a more relaxed feel than many fast-paced dining spots. That makes it suitable for solo dining as well as shared meals with friends or family.
Overall, Meet Dumpling presents itself as a dependable Chinese restaurant with a modern, flexible approach to dining. It brings together flavor, convenience, accessibility, and variety in a way that makes it easy to revisit. Whether someone is looking for a comforting dumpling meal, a quick bubble tea stop, a vegetarian-friendly lunch, or an easy dinner with friends, the restaurant offers a straightforward and appealing experience built around good food and practical service.

We are not locals. We came back to restaurant. We love their wanton soup. The flavor of the soup is so yummy. They also made their dumplings fresh on site. The owner is down to earth and super friendly. Watch out for the hour of operation so you donβt miss eating there. Itβs worth going.

Dumplings are really good here. You can tell by the wrapper and the freshness of the filling. The Chive, Shrimp, Pork dumplings had chunks of shrimp instead of minced which adds to the texture. Cucumber salad is perfectly tangy and slightly spicy. The beef noodles also had tender meat and bouncy noodles. This is a no frills place with high quality food. The server communicated wait times and was respectful throughout our meal. As a New Yorker who eats a lot of dumplings in Flushing, highly recommend!

Small restaurant with a few tables serving authentic Chinese dumplings that are so good! Itβs not surprising that it can get busy here so try to go on a weekday or off hour to avoid a wait. Food comes out pretty quick too so not too bad if you have to wait a little. The Scallop and Pork dumplings were my favorite with the Green Onion Pancakes. Parking is in a plaza that gets filled up too so can be a bit difficult. Overall, great choice if youβre able to get in!

Weβve come here twice (my boyfriend and I) and each time, the atmosphere is lovely. Weβre immediately greeted, the servers are very attentive and constantly checking up on you. The place is clean, music is nice and the food comes out quickly. We were in and out in about half an hour and we ordered two appetizers, two entrees, two desserts. Our server even suggested dipping my sweet bun into my bingsu and oh my God she changed my life. The food is amazing, if youβre on the fence about trying them out, please do!

Yes, there's a wait just like at any spot that's actually worth it. The place is small, so come with a little patience or just order to go if you're in a rush. We tried a few dishes. The green onion pancake was crispy and golden on the outside with flaky, layered bites. The sweet corn with chili dumplings had that perfect balance- slightly sweet, a little heat, and super juicy filling. The green pepper with corn dumplings had a light crunch and savory flavor. The standout for me was the Beijing zhajiang noodles. That was probably my favorite. Noodles were perfection. The owner was kind. You can tell it's a family-run spot, especially with the sweetest little girl helping out, which made the whole experience feel even more genuine and homey. We were seated in about 20 minutes, which honestly isn't bad at all. Free parking lot. Will be back soon.
